Here offered is one of the rarest trilobites known from the Lower Devonian, Emsian of Bundenbach, Germany. A laterally compressed, but essentially near complete example of the spinous Burmeisterella sp. For context there have been maybe only 1 or 2 complete specimens of this species trilobite ever found. What makes this piece even rarer is that it is from the famous Bundenbach fossil locality.
