Here is a large and stunning red Baculite Fossil piece from Alberta, Canada. These are a rare long cone shelled cephalopods that lived around 70 million years ago. It has stunning red flashes that with the right light pictures or video could not do justice. This is large and an impressive specimen swgment for a Baculite. Paraloid has been applied to this fossil to protect the exterior. This is the same process used by museums to preserve fossils.
