Here is an absolutely huge, skull bone part of Metoposaurus from the Chinle Formation of northeast Arizona. The Chinle Formation is Upper Triassic in age, meaning this fossil is approximately 220 million years old. The preservation of the bone is excellent, with incredible details remaining across the entire specimen. This part is from the skull as illustrated and circled in red in the first photo of this listing. So heres your opportunity for a pretty unique and large sized bone that is seldomly offered from this aquatic Triassic beast!
