Here is a very rare Carboniferous (310-315myo) fossil horseshoe crab ancestor found in a split nodule with both the Positive/Negative known as Belinurus trilobitoides (Buckland, 1836) in paired nodule, from the long closed Crock Hey Open Cast Quarry, Wigan, Lancashire, United Kingdom. A small yet affordable specimen of a very valuable fossil from the family tree of the well known living fossil that exists today, known as the Horseshoe Crab!
