Here's an opportunity you won't get again for years if ever, this is a partial section of large Stegosaurus dorsal plate! Found in the Morrison Formation/Inyan Kara Group Upper Jurassic 145 myo of Sundance, Wyoming. This partial section was part of one of the larger plates, but it had eroded out and became too disarticulated to restore. So this piece was separately restored/stabilized as is to prevent it from falling apart. Stegosaurus plates are one of the most sought after fossils and full plates go for $10,000+ and are usually sold privately and never make it to the public. With the sharp demand and recent interest in dinosaur fossils its will be even more impossible to obtain one as they will be held on to, sold to private wealthy clients, or reserved for vendors. This is the one fossils 95%+ of collectors are missing from their dinosaur collection, do not miss out as you won't see an affordable or let alone even a partial piece of authentic stegosaurus plate offered. Doing this for many years I say this with absolute confidence. Act fast before I change my mind about selling this piece!
The third to last photo is a cast of one of the smaller stegosaurus plates found at the same site (NOT INCLUDED NOR FOR SALE), the second to last photo is from the dig site where these plates where found, and the last photo is an example of a full large plate.
I will also throw in some bonus coprilites found in the same dig, whether or not they are stegosaurus is unknown but it makes a good case.
