Heres an exclusive offering you won't find anywhere else! This is not one of those plastic toy or bags of sand with fossils preloaded. Here is an adventure in a box, the experience of an authentic DINOSAUR fossil dig! These kits will be are loaded with fossil dirt directly from a real dinosaur digsite in the Lance Formation of Newcastle, WY where the source quarry is. Now from anywhere in the world you can dig your own Dinosaur bones and teeth from the comfort of your own home! No need to worry about laws, private land access, an expensive trip, or harsh weather conditions, now the expedition dig-site comes to you. This is from a channel-lag deposit microsite from a Cretaceous Dinosaur Ranch in Wyoming (I have been told by the rancher this site has produced alot of juvenile/baby dinosaur remains). Each box is loaded with matrix containing numerous bits of Dinosaur parts of many various species of Triceratops, Hadrosaur Duckbill Dinosaurs, Ankylosaurs, Tyrannosaurus, Raptors, other Theropods and more. Also the other fauna such as Garfish, Champsosaur, turtles, crocodiles, and others. Even coprolites, seeds, petrified wood, and even amber can be found. This concentrate is so rich that it can take a couple weeks or more to completly sort/screen/organize/prepare/identify all the fossils out of! Make sure to break every single little piece of dirt and keep a close eye for micro fossils, as even some baby dinosaur teeth/raptor teeth can be very small and potentially missable if you go to quickly.
These kits are geared towards a perfect activity for kids and familes who can enjoy a truely unique fun and educational activity! Still can be fun for the seasoned collector and though not impossible given the random nature of the dirt I wouldn't expect at all something like a whole large Rex tooth to be in there, though at times tooth shards have been found. There are dozens of different fossils in each box. Best part is you and your family will be the first humans to discover and touch them! They will be stocked when made available as they are freshly dug up from the site in Wyoming and each box is a good shovel full of material packed into shopping bag, enough to fit into and ship in a usps medium flatrate box. Each box comes with a small screen piece for sifting and a brush/PVA B-15 Beads that even the pros use to prepare and glue bones for the authentic experience! (An easier method if desired is coating them with an elmers glue/water solution once cleaned off and glueing bones back together using super glue). Watch out and keep tab of every single bit of bone as many of the small pieces/broken bones within usually have a good chance of being associated (meaning from the same bone/animal) and can be prepared back together like a puzzle to an extent. I would even keep the leftover dirt to fill any gap repairs if needed or to be used for cool unique insitu-like display ideas for fossils.
IMPORTANT:
These kits are filled with fresh material from a recent dig. Each kit is different so while there is always plenty of interesting fossils the types of fossils included cannot be guaranteed as some will have more bone and others more teeth, it is random in nature just like a real fossil dig. These kits are NOT acceptable under any circumstances for return as they can contain unusual and rare items so once the box is opened there is no way to assure that any special item have been removed!
If you have any questions about your kit or need some help with identification always feel free to reach out to me for assistance. In the last photo of this listing is a small guide to help with prep and the other pictures before it show general examples of what fossils maybe contained.
