Here is a very rare section of the upper jaw (maxillary) of a Triceratops. This has tooth battery and is from a medium sized animal.
Few of these specimens are found as the structure of the maxillary is rather fragile, hence this fossil is coated/restored to stabilize it for display. This fossil was found in the Lance Formation, Upper Cretaceous, 70 MYO of Weston County, Wyoming.
