Here is a beautifully preserved, dark museum quality piece of fossil metatarsal bone likely from the tyrannosaur Gorgosaurus libratus collected from the Two Medicine Formation of Montana. While this Formation typically produces 3 species of tyrannosaurs the specific quarry this bone was found in primarily produced the remains of gorgosaurus which is why the ID is safer bet which typically would not be the case if found elsewhere.
