Here a rare fossil brachiopod bivalve shell from a mystery locality. While I think I was told these came out of Oklahoma,USA awhile back I am unsure if that information is correct. It reminds me of a locality like Rettigheim which is one of a few German localities famous for pyritized Jurassic fossils. While the locality is dubious, this is still a cool example of a fully pyritizied shell that contrasts nicely on the matrix.
