Here is a stunning red ammolite ammonite placenticeras fossil from Alberta, Canada. It has quite a bit of stunning red flashes that with the right light pictures could not do justice. Even has some white crystaline interrior revealed, which is very unusual for these pieces. Paraloid has been applied to this fossil to protect the exterior. This is the same process used by museums to preserve fossils. To watch a video to get the best idea of the stunning and beautiful red color flashes this specimen has send me an email to receive it.
