Here is a nice lot of thick partial fossilized Dugong/Cetacean rib bones found in Flint River, Georgia. Given the locality there is a chance some of these bones could be from a rare eocene archeocete whale such as Basiliosaurus Cetoides as the bone shares similar characteristics and complete remains have been found at that site. Very hard to differentiate between the two in some cases but most of them are likely and very much appear to be Dugong. There is some sticker residue on two of the bones but it can be scratched/cleaned off without damaging the fossil.
