This is a stunning section of a Titanothere/Brontothere jaw with the tooth from a massive Rhinoceros-looking animal "Thunder Beast" that lived during the Late Eocene. It was collected from the Oligocene aged White River Formation of South Dakota. Upper jaw pieces tend to be much more desirable among collectors than the lower jaws because the molars are much wider and just generally more massive. While partial and some damage on the tooth's backside the display side looks great and makes a wonderful display piece.
