This fossil is roughly 7" long x 2.5" wide and is the large metatarsal bone of a hadrosaur like edmontosaurus.This surface find was in a number of pieces when found as bone commonly is and was reassembled/stabilized with CA glue.
You can still see there is a fair amount of dirt and debris on this fossil, so if you like to do small amounts of prep using a small wire brush, dental pic, exacto knife, and water, you can make it look really nice. On occasion the dirt flakes off a bit on its own. Looks much nicer under a lighted display, or as a cool conversation piece, etc. Will make a nice addition to any collection, or as a gift for the fossil collector in your family.
Specimen is guaranteed authentic (66 million years old) Cretaceous Hell Creek Dinosaur fossil material as it was legally collected over the last 8 years with permission from the land owners.
