New here is a one of a kind policy so far only offered here on nyislandfossils, our "Fossil Trade Policy" where we are now open to accepting full or partial trades on most specimens offered here on our store! This means you can trade fossils from your collection for fossils from our inventory directly, or do a partial trade to recieved a significant discount on an item you would be interested in purchasing. If you are interested in a trade please reach out to our email address at ryann10006@yahoo.com or through the webstore contact us page, but first you must read and agree to the following terms below:
1) Fossil trading is an option only availiable to customers living and residing in the USA who have a legitamate registered residency they currently reside in.
2) Trade requests reviewed maybe declined or accepted, if accepted the items offered must be first sent to one of our pickup addresses and upon receipt will be throughly inspected for confirmation and must be recieved in the exact same condition shown previously and as described, upon confirmation we will reach out to you and ship out your desired item within typically 1-3 business days after your items have been first recieved. Shipping costs are the responsibility of both individual parties involved, and a tracking number must be included and sent. We must ask for your item to be sent first as a trust policy, as a well established and reputable store for many years we want to make sure people will not take advantage of this special offering and thus ruin this opportunity.
3) All trades once agreed to are final and cannot be refunded/rexchanged once the trade has been successfully completed.
4) For partial trades the invoice to pay for the remaining balance of the item must be paid upfront as as similarly stated in (2) your item must also be sent first, if accepted the payment/items offered must be first sent to one of our pickup addresses and upon receipt will be throughly inspected for confirmation, upon confirmation we will ship out your desired item within typically 1-3 business days after your items/payment have been first recieved. Shipping costs are the responsibility of interested party to send out your item and pay the costs for the item you will be recieving, and a tracking number must be included and sent.
5) After agreeing to a trade to send a fossil out to us you solely are liable for all risks and any loss or damages that would be involved in the trade. We will never send out a fossil of ours out until thae item you sent as part of the deal is 100% confirmed. To avoid an abuse of trust all trades are final after after confirmation of delivery, in addition if you misplace the fossil afterwards or make a claim that our item was not recieved after confirmed delivery, nyislandfossils will not replace/or send back the item sent out to us and reserves the right to keep your item.
