Here is one of the most sought fossils and part of Pliosaur, the mighty tooth. This tooth was found in the Jurassic deposits of Weymouth, Dorset, United Kingdom. This tooth may very well be from the Pliosaur Liopluerodon Ferox, tough call but that is what I am leaning towards from what I've seen and have in my collection as also the labial surface seems like it would be devoid of striations so that rules out Simolestes. This tooth came from a type of animal very similar to the likes Liopluerodon and it surely belonged to a ferocious animal as the wear looks like it could be potentially from feeding. Also on a side note this specimen came out of an old Victorian age collection. These teeth rarely come to market and are scooped up super fast when at a reasonable price.
